2022

Grupo Pinus Brasil obtained the FSC certification for the RF MADEIRAS plant. The outlook for the future is the integration of quality, environmental, health and safety standards and the preparation for the group’s ESG standardization in order to operate at levels of global excellence.

Construction of the rosin and turpentine production plant, with the capacity to process 36,000 tons of pine resin per year. It is one of the largest processing plants in the country.

RF Madeiras, the company’s unit that processes pine wood for the furniture, packaging and renewable energy (biomass) segments, began operating.

Construction of the tree nursery. Start of the pine production and genetic improvement. Today the group is self-sufficient in replanting its forests.

New acquisition. Henrique Fernandes buys Fazenda Pedra Maria (Pedra Maria farm) in the municipality of Buri, state of São Paulo.

Mr. Henrique Fernandes, the son of a family focused on wood logistics, began his activities in what we call “Pine Chemical” when he bought his first truck to transport wood.
