Timber Company
100% Utilization
At Grupo Pinus Brasil, everything is used.
We strive to use 100% of the resources extracted from the forests.
There, they either become wood products or generate energy to keep our factories running. This completes the production cycle, where we use 100% of the raw materials that come from reforestation.
Fuel Source
Chopped wood – chips or sawdust – becomes biomass. It is used as a fuel source in the boilers to produce the energy that keeps the machines at the Gum Rosin and Rosin derivatives units running. At Grupo Pinus Brasil, sustainability is part of our routine.
Wood Products
At the sawmill, wood becomes boards, which are used in many segments, such as the pallets needed for storing our products.
Wood for Reforestation
Grupo Pinus Brasil has an exclusive brand for selling wood from reforestation. It is RF Madeiras, whose products are obtained by handling pine logs from our own, or leased, forests.
We therefore have one of the few production plants in the world that is fully integrated and verticalized. We use 100% of the raw materials that come from our reforested areas:
– Tree nursery
– Forest
– Resin extraction
– Gum Rosin, Turpentine, and Gum Rosin derivatives industries
– Sawmill
The sawmill is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which attests to our commitment to the sustainable use of chips and sawdust as biomass.

It is important to note that, in addition to using reforested wood in our production process, we cut our logs using high performance lines. This guarantees the quality of the product and keeps the specifications within the parameters established for the national and international markets.
